  • Cases are registered against 49 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party: Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: After forming the government with a huge majority in Delhi and Punjab, the eyes of the Aam Aadmi Party are now on Gujarat. The party hopes that like these two states, it can show wonders here and can leave its impact in the politics of the state. This is the reason why Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been making continuous statements on Gujarat for some time now. Kejriwal on Thursday said the vote share of the Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat has increased by 4 per cent after the CBI raids at his deputy Manish Sisodia’s residence.

‘AAP’s vote share has increased by 4 per cent in Gujarat’

Addressing the assembly on the confidence motion, Kejriwal said, “After the raid on Manish Sisodia, AAP’s vote share in Gujarat has increased by 4 per cent. After arrest, it will reach 6 per cent. He defended Sisodia, saying that the investigating agency knows that he is innocent, yet a total of 13 cases have been registered against him. Kejriwal said that cases are registered against 49 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party.

‘Fake cases filed against Sisodia’
The Delhi Chief Minister said that fake cases have been registered against Sisodia. “Sisodia welcomed the investigation, but did not threaten the defamation case,” he said. CBI has Sisodia Raid his residence, went to his village, searched his bank locker too, but found nothing. We have brought a confidence motion today to prove that Operation Lotus will fail. None of our MLAs have changed sides.

‘Is it wrong to build schools and hospitals?’
Targeting BJP Kejrival “BJP is checking every place where AAP has done a good job. After the arrest of Manish Sisodia, I think our vote share will increase further. Is it wrong to build schools and hospitals? They are spending Rs 20 crore to Rs 50 crore on buying MLAs, which is not wrong in their view. The confidence motion moved by Kejriwal in the Delhi Assembly was passed by voice vote.
