Congress Rally: Congress today made a ruckus against the BJP government at the Center. Big leaders of the party and thousands of workers gathered at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. During this, thousands of Congress workers who reached the rally raised slogans of ‘Rahul Gandhi Zindabad’ on Sunday. Many workers also demanded through banner-posters that Rahul should once again take over the reins of the party. Congress worker Dipesh Singh, who arrived from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, said, “Rahul ji is our leader and we have full faith in him that he will bring back the pride of Congress. He should become the president of the party.”

Announcement of election for new president of Congress

Many Congress workers who reached the rally carried banners on which slogans were written demanding that Rahul Gandhi be made the president. It is known that after the defeat of Congress in the last Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had resigned from the post of President. Since then, Sonia Gandhi has been handling the responsibility as the interim president of the party. According to the election schedule announced by the Congress, the notification for the election of the party president will be issued on September 22. Thereafter, nominations can be filed from September 24 and if there are more than one candidates, the voting will be held on October 17.

Rahul Gandhi lashed out at Modi government
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (SSS) and alleged that the prime minister was weakening India by spreading hatred. He also said in Congress’s ‘Halla-Bol’ rally on inflation that now the opposition is left with no way but to go to the public and communicate directly, that is why the Congress is going to take out ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra from September 7. . Rahul Gandhi said, “Ever since the BJP government came to power, hatred and anger are increasing in the country.” Hate does not arise in the heart of the one who is not afraid.
