Earthquake News: Earth trembled due to earthquake in Kargil, the world’s highest war site. The earthquake occurred here at 9:30 in the morning. It is being told that the magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 4.3 on the reactor. According to media reports, the impact of the earthquake was felt in 64 km WNW of Ladakh. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground.

There was also an earthquake in Leh

At the same time, earthquake tremors were felt at around 4.19 am, about 189 km north of Alchi in Leh. The magnitude of the earthquake was estimated at 4.8. According to the National Center for Seismology, the depth of the earthquake was 10 km below the ground. There is no report of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake. A few days ago also mild tremors of earthquake were felt in Alchi. The earthquake then measured 4.2 on the Richter scale. The National Center for Seismology put the epicenter of the quake at 89 km southwest of Alchi. It is said that people were busy in their work in the morning at the time of the earthquake which had occurred here in the past. At the same time the earth shook and the people came out of the houses in fear when the doors and windows vibrated due to the earthquake.

Continuous earthquake tremors indicate some major devastation!

Some local earth scientists warned that these small tremors could be a sign of a major seismic event to come. Small earthquakes have been frequent in Jammu and Kashmir in recent times. Are these small earthquakes a sign of any major danger? In such a situation, taking them lightly can prove to be a big mistake. Experts believe that these mild earthquakes should be seen as a big warning and preparations should be started in advance to avoid damage in case of major earthquake.

There should be no loss of life and property, so prepare in advance

It is said that the small tremors of an earthquake give a warning before a major earthquake. In such a situation, it is prudent to start preparing in advance for the least loss of life and property. A media report quoted AK Shukla, former head of the National Center of Seismology, as saying that no such machine has been made, which can predict earthquakes. But those small earthquakes happen. They should be seen as a warning of a major earthquake.

There was a severe earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir in 2005

Jammu and Kashmir comes in very sensitive areas. There was a very severe earthquake here on 8 October 2005. Its intensity was measured at 7.6 on the Richter scale. Due to this earthquake, more than 80 thousand people died in both the areas of Pakistan and India adjoining the LoC i.e. Line of Control. On the other hand, if we talk about Jammu and Kashmir, then it falls in the dangerous zone of earthquake.
