The case is of Kotwali area of ​​the district, where both the wives of the truck driver allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison on Sunday. Police gave this information. According to the driver Javed (45), both his wives took this step due to financial constraints as his truck was confiscated by the traffic authorities four months ago. Police said Afsana (35) and Hina (26) consumed poison at their residence in Mimlana Road area of ​​Kotwali police station area.

The truck was seized due to lack of documents

Superintendent of Police (City) Arpit Vijayvargiya said that both the women were taken to the district hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead. He said the bodies have been sent for postmortem. Further investigation of the matter is on. Javed told the police that four months ago the traffic department officials had confiscated his truck for not having complete documents of the vehicle.

A few months ago, five members of the same family had committed suicide by hanging themselves in Samastipur, Bihar due to financial constraints. The incident took place in Mau village of Vidyapatinagar police station, where Manoj Jha and all his family members committed suicide by hanging on the noose.
