Google Users: Google has a new Privacy Feature This will allow people to directly request for deletion of search results containing their personal information. According to a 9 to 5 Google report, Google’s ‘Results About You’ tool is being made available to some users. This was announced by the company during its annual developer conference. The event took place earlier this year.

With this new tool, if you find your personal information like home address, email address, phone number or any other information on Google search, simply click on the three-dot overflow menu that appears in the top-right corner of each result. Click and remove the information.

At present you have to go a long way to remove any Personal Information Identity (PII). You can accomplish this task through many options.

What other options will be helpful for the users

Apart from the ‘All Requests’ feed, you have filters like ‘In Progress’ and ‘Approved’. Google has previously said that when it receives a remove request, we check it first. Let us tell you that earlier this year Google updated its policies to remove personally identifying information.

Google will now keep an eye on fake ratings and reviews

Google is rolling out a new App Review Policy to make app ratings and reviews more realistic in the Play Store. According to a report by Android Central, reviews and ratings submitted by users will now be paused for about 24 hours before they become public. If it is known that this is a fake review. Google is doing this so that the correct information about the app can be passed on to the users.

Concept of new app policy clear

According to the report, Google aims to detect suspicious ratings and reviews on Android apps for the new policy. Google has said in an advisory that the company can now detect suspicious ratings or wrong reviews more easily than before.

The report mentions that the new policy could help reduce the spread of fake reviews on products online. This will give correct information to the users and reduce the chances of falling prey to fraud.
