Digital Desk, Mumbai. The country’s stock market opened with a fall on the fifth and last day of the trading week (16 September 2022, Friday). During this, both Sensex and Nifty remained on the red mark. The 30-share sensitive index Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) fell 336 points, or 0.6 percent, to open at 59,598.
On the other hand, the 50-share sensitive index Nifty 50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 17,789, down 0.5 percent.
Let us tell you that, on the last trading day (15 September 2022, Thursday), the market was open with an increase. During this, the Sensex rose 286.03 points to open at 60,633 levels. On the other hand, Nifty opened at 18,086 with a gain of 82.20 points.
Whereas in the evening the market closed with a fall. Where the Sensex closed at 59,934.01, down 412.96 points, or 0.68%. On the other hand, the Nifty closed at 17,877.40, down 126.35 points, or 0.70%.
