Omar Abdullah said this in a tweet

Omar Abdullah has reacted to a statement by the state president of Jammu and Kashmir BJP. In his response, he said that neither political opponents are enemies of each other nor politics is for division or hatred. His comments were taken by people on Twitter. A user has termed this as a sign of backdoor settlement between the National Conference and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Raina calls Abdullah a ‘gem’

In a video, Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina has termed Omar Abdullah as a gem among the top political leaders of the Union Territory. Raina said, ‘When I became a member of the assembly along with Omar Abdullah, we saw as a human being that Omar Abdullah is a gem among the top political leaders of Jammu and Kashmir. That’s why we are also friends.’ He said that Omar Abdullah was the first person to know his condition when he got infected with Corona. He had to call and inquire about his condition.

On Raina’s tweet, Umar wrote ‘no need for hatred in politics’

Responding to Raina’s tweet, Omar Abdullah said that politicians need not personally hate each other if they disagree politically. He said in a series of tweets, ‘Why politics is about division and hatred’ Where does politics say that to disagree politically, we have to personally hate each other. I have political opponents, I do not have enemies. He said, ‘I am grateful for these words of Ravinder Raina. I am glad that these words will not stop us from opposing each other.’
