Kerala News: A PIL-Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the Kerala High Court requesting the state government and the police to direct that the Bharat Jodi Yatra of the Congress party should not block the entire road. In the PIL, a request has been made to direct the Congress to take the expenditure on the deployment of a large number of police forces on the route of the Yatra.

The Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been requested to ensure that the yatra led by Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi covers only half of the road and the remaining portion of the road is allowed for free movement of vehicles. to be kept empty.

The petition, filed by advocate Vijayan, was listed for hearing on Thursday before a bench of Chief Justice S Manikumar and Justice Shaji P Chale. This journey of the Congress began on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. It will reach Kashmir by covering a distance of 3,750 km in 150 days. Congress, Rahul Gandhi, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee chief K Sudhakaran and Leader of Opposition in the state assembly VD Satheen have also been made parties in the petition.
