It is being claimed in media reports that the father burnt the child to death for not doing his homework. According to the Daily Mail report, 12-year-old Shaheer Khan suffered serious burns in the fire in Orangi Town area on September 14 and was taken to the hospital, where he died two days later. According to the report, his father Nazir Khan poured kerosene on Shaheer and lit a match to scare the boy to complete his homework, but the fire took a terrible form due to the kerosene.

Mother in mourning on receiving news of son’s painful death

Hearing her boy’s cries, Shaheer’s mother Shazia reached the spot and threw blankets and clothes at the burning child in an attempt to douse the fire. According to the report of Daily Mail, Shazia was in mourning after receiving the news of her son’s unbearably painful death on 16 September. She took two days before registering a case against her husband.
