Women’s T20I Rankings: Indian women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana has been rewarded for her recent performance against England in the ICC rankings. Left-handed star opener Smriti has reached the second place in the new ranking released by the ICC. He has broken the Australian pair of Meg Lanning and Beth Mooney in this case.

26-year-old Mandhana scored the highest 111 runs for India in the three-match series against England. Because of this, she has gained two places in the rankings and she has now overtaken Meg Lanning to occupy the second position. However, Mooney remains at the top with 743 rating points. While Lanning has slipped to third place with 725 points. Smriti has also left behind New Zealand’s star batsman Sophie Devine.

Smriti has also benefited in the ODI rankings of batsmen. Mandhana, who scored 91 runs in the first ODI against England, has now gained three places to occupy the seventh position in this format. Among Indian players, captain Harmanpreet Kaur has moved up four places to number nine. While in ODIs bowlers, Indian spinner Deepti Sharma has jumped six places to number 12.
